Mercedes-Maybach Unveils Special-edition S-Class S680 By Virgil Abloh, Limited To Just 150 Units
Mercedes-Maybach unveils special-edition ultra-luxury S-Class S680 by Virgil Abloh.
It is inspired by the Project Maybach electric show car that Mercedes built in partnership with Abloh.
The limited-edition Maybach by Virgil Abloh will be available this year with a global run of just 150 units.
Mercedes is still mute about the pricing, but a regular Mercedes-Maybach S-Class costs over $200,000 in top trim.
This new limited-edition Mercedes-Maybach S-Class by Virgil Abloh is expected to be pricier.
Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-Benz’s ultra-luxury division, has announced an exclusive edition of its S680 sedan designed in collaboration with the late artist and fashion designer, Virgil Abloh.
The new limited-edition model is inspired by the Project Maybach electric show car that Mercedes built in partnership with Abloh, a collaboration that was finalized months before Abloh’s death in November 2021, aged 41.
The Maybach by Virgil Abloh is a specially curated version of the Mercedes-Maybach S680 sedan finished in a unique two-tone ‘glossy Obsidian Black and a sand-colored paint combination’ borrowed directly from Project Maybach.

Inside, it features identical two-tone color scheme with black and sand Nappa leather. There are also Special “Mercedes-Maybach and Virgil Abloh” logos around the cabin.
The new limited-edition Maybach by Virgil Abloh will be available later this year with a global run of just 150 units.
Each example comes with “special custom-made wooden box — covered in sand-colored Nappa leather emblazoned with the Mercedes-Maybach and Virgil Abloh logo” — containing a 1/18 scale replica of the car, two car keys and a carabiner hook.
Mercedes is still mute about the pricing, but a regular 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class costs over $200,000 in top trim, and this new limited-edition Maybach by Virgil Abloh is expected to be pricier.
