₦200m 2019 Bulletproof Toyota Land Cruiser Seized By Nigeria Customs (Video)
Nigeria Customs has seized a ₦200m 2019 Bulletproof Toyota Land Cruiser SUV that was abandoned in the bush by smugglers.
It comes barely a day after seizing a Rolls-Royce and Lamborghini luxury cars with a Duty Paid Value of ₦324m.
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has recorded yet another feat in its fight against smuggling of goods into the country.
On Monday, the Customs, in a short clip posted on its Facebook page, showed a bulletproof Toyota Land Cruiser SUV that was seized after being abandoned in the bush by suspected smuggler.
The video was captioned with :
“We will continue to suppress smuggling to its barest minimum no matter the antics deployed by daredevil smugglers.”
“With credible information and your support, economic saboteurs will surely meet their waterloo.”

In the video, the Custom boss talked about the implications of the armoured vehicle getting into the wrong hands.
He also said to own this kind of SUV, worth around ₦200m, one needs the apply to the National Security Adviser’s office to get an End User Certificate that will allow them to know the true owner.
The Custom boss also talked about the 70% duty on the armoured SUV, that is expected to go into the government’s purse.
This seizure comes barely a day after Apapa Area Command of Nigeria Customs showed two seized luxury cars with a Duty Paid Value of ₦324million.
The two vehicles include a 2018 Rolls-Royce (model wasn’t mentioned) and a 2019 Lamborghini Hurracan Sport Car.
The 2019 Lamborghini Hurracan Sport Car, which was pictured inside the container is what ₦100 million.
