Dodge Charger And Challenger Go Dark With New Black Package

Dodge is prepping two new appearance packages for the Charger and Challenger, which you’ll be able to order later this year. The first is the HEMI Orange package while the other is the Black package.

The Hemi Orange package pays homage to the distinct orange look Dodge gave its iconic Hemi engines during the muscle car era. Orange accents adorn the outside of the vehicle, including a full-length orange accent stripe that runs bumper-to-bumper. Dodge also uses the colour to outline the Midnight Grey Metallic grille and fender badging. Inside, the brand adds orange stitching to the flat-bottom steering wheel, the console lid, the shifter boot, the instrument panel, the doors, and the armrests.

The SRT Black appearance package is offered for the Charger and Challenger on SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye models. Both the Charger SRT and Challenger SRT have Black Nickel exhaust tips, plus SRT Hellcat badging is in Midnight Grey Metallic.

According to Dodge, the 2022 Dodge Durango R/T and R/T Tow N Go will also be offered with the HEMI Orange upgrade in the first quarter of 2022.

“The HEMI Orange and SRT Black packages offer two distinctive appearance options for the 2022 Dodge Charger and Challenger,” said Dodge CEO, Tim Kuniskis. “Performance-vehicle owners are unique, and these two packages offer our customers the chance to stand out even more on the street.”
