Inkas $1.2m Bulletproof Mercedes-AMG G63 Limousine Is A Bunker Built For Dictators
Inkas latest creation is a stretch limousine version of its bulletproof Mercedes G63 SUV worth $1,180,925 or (₦455 million); excluding tax and destination charges.
It is specially design for Heads of States and Dictators who want more rear leg rooms while ‘cruising in war zones’.
The armour on this bunker on wheels can stop some 7.62 and 0.308 assault-rifle rounds.
The floor can also withstand the blast of two hand grenades detonated simultaneously.
The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon is no doubt one of the toughest SUVs on the planet. Its ruggedness makes it a favourite among Nigerian celebrities.
The G63 version from Mercedes’ high-performance subsidiary ‘AMG’ also adds more luxuries and performance to this tested off-roading qualities.
But, if you think the boxy full-sized SUV can’t take you through a war zone, then you need to see this latest creation from Canadian armoring firm, Inkas.
Inkas, which has previously added armour to the current-generation Mercedes G-550 and G63, now has similar upgrades that offers more leg room.
Its latest creation is a stretch limo version of the G63 specially design for Heads of States and Dictators who want more rear leg rooms while cruising in war zones.
The Inkas bulletproof Mercedes-AMG G63 limousine features bullet-resistant glass that give it 360-degree perimeter protection, as well as protection for the battery and electronic control unit.
Its BR6 armor protection level allows it to stop some 7.62 and 0.308 assault-rifle rounds. According to Inkas, the floor can also withstand the blast of two hand grenades detonated simultaneously.
The armored SUV also has a built-in chemical filtration system to ward off biological or chemical attacks. It rides on run-flat tyres that allow high-speed driving when punctured by bullets.
Inside, the limo boasts a 4K television that also serves as a partition between the front and rear compartments. Other features includes 4K Apple TV integration, and reclining rear captain’s chairs with heating, cooling, and massage functions.
Options like emergency lights, a fire-suppression system, heavy-duty brakes and wheels, and a siren/PA system, can also be added.
Powering the stretched armored G63 is the stock twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 making 577 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque.
This engine will get the base G63 from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds. But the extra weight of the stretched and armored version will definitely allow this bunker on wheels to do this over 5 seconds.
The Inkas bulletproof Mercedes stretched G63 is available by special order. This limousine is priced at one million Euros ($1,180,925 or ₦455 million); excluding tax and destination charges.
