Ogun-based Proforce To Produce Military Drones In Nigeria After Partnering With France’s Aeraccess

Proforce Air Systems signs a partnership with Aeraccess for the production of military drones in Nigeria.
The partnership, according to Proforce, will address the internal defence challenges in Nigeria.
Proforce specializes in both military and civilian armoured vehicles as well as personal security.
Proforce also provides armoured Sedans, Trucks, Buses and SUVs for High-profile individuals within and outside Nigeria.
Proforce Air Systems, a subsidiary of Nigerian Defence company, Proforce Limited, has signed a partnership with French Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) specialist, Aeraccess, which will see the former produce military drones in Nigeria.
The partnership between the two companies was signed by Proforce Air Systems CEO, Ade Ogundeyin and Aeraccess CEO, Shehzaad Callachand during the bpiFrance exhibition held in Abuja on Wednesday, 6th of March.
In a press release on 7th of April, Proforce stated that the Parnership, in addition to strengthening the connection between Nigeria and France, will also “address the internal defence challenges in Nigeria.”
Aeraccess designs, builds and produces an innovative portfolio of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). According to the French company :
“Our solutions give law enforcement personnel a situational awareness on the battlefield through real-time, airborne reconnaissance, surveillance and communication.”
Last month, Proforce, a specialized manufacturer of armoured vehicles in Nigeria, also signed a contract with Belarus for the delivery of defense equipments, possibly, armoured vehicles.
The Nigerian Defence company, based in Ode-remo in Ogun State, has had orders from the Nigerian Government, the United Nations and some African countries, including Chad.
In addition, Proforce also provides Armoured Sedans, Pickup Trucks, Buses and SUVs for High-profile individuals such as Heads of State, political figures, businesspersons, VIPs, celebrities and sports men and women.
