South African President Rides In King Charles’ ₦5 Billion Bentley State Limo During State Visit To UK
South African President Ramaphosa rides in King Charles’ Bentley State limousine During his 2-day State visit to UK.
Bentley State limousine, which King Charles inherited, was a gift from Bentley Motors to mark Her Majesty’s Golden Jubilee in 2002.
Just two Bentley State limousine were ever made and each of these rides cost £10 million (around ₦5.4 billion).
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has concluded his two-day state visit to the United Kingdom (UK) after attending the UK-South Africa business forum at Lancaster House.
During his visit, Ramaphosa met with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and His Majesty King Charles III, who gave the South African leader access to one of two Bentley State limousines, previously used by Her Majesty, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Video shared shows King Charles III and President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa travelling around London in the two Bentley State limousines, which were supported by outriders of the Special Escort Group.
The sizable motorcade, that includes Police motorcycles, the two Bentley State Limousines, Range Rover SUVs and Mercedes-Benz Vans, were seen moving swiftly through the streets of London.
The Bentley State limousine was a gift from Bentley Motors to mark Her Majesty’s Golden Jubilee in 2002. Just two were ever made and each of these rides cost £10 million (around ₦5.4 billion today), making it the most expensive state car in the world.
