Russian Aurus Senat Convertibles Spotted Preparing For Parade Rehearsal Near Kremlin
Two heavily camouflaged convertible version of Russian-made Aurus Senat was spotted preparing for the Victory Day over Hitler Germany that would be held on the Red Square in Moscow on 9 May.
The open roof models may likely get the 4.4-liter V8 with electric support from the sedan and the Limo, ‘cos the entire Aurus models is based on a single modular platform.
The non-convertible civilian versions of the luxury car has already been sold out for both 2019 and 2020, in spite of a hefty price tag starting at 10 million roubles (about $151,000 or about ₦54m before shipping and clearing).
Mass production of Aurus-brand vehicles will kick off in 2020, with production expected to gradually reach about 5,000 vehicles a year in 7 to 8 year’s time.
