Toyota Adds A PS5 To Its Limited Edition Yaris GR Sport GT7
Fans of the famous Playstation game Grand Turismo are in for a treat as Toyota has added a free PS5 console to every Yaris GR Sport GT7 purchased. The GT7 means Grand Turismo 7 which is an upcoming title for the PS5 console game (a free copy of the game is also included).
This was made possible by the partnership with Sony and the Grand Turismo series (Toyota has been partners with them for decades now) but the drawback is that these cars are limited to 100 units and will be made available from March 4. Those who will avail of the limited package will also get an extra DualSense wireless controller and a 3-month subscription to PlayStation Plus
A handful of changes have been made to the Yaris to ensure it stands out from a typical model. For example, it is finished in a shade dubbed ‘Gris Dynamique’ and sits on a set of 18-inch wheels. Additionally, Toyota has equipped the Yaris GR Sport GT7 Edition with some Gran Turismo branding.
Inside, the Yaris GR Sport comes with GR sports seats and steering, a plethora of red stitching, GR engine start button, plus other details that are unique to this GT7 Edition model, namely an interior nameplate with a limited serial number, as well as a personalized smart key fob.
Fitted to this Yaris GR Sport is a hybrid system that consists of a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine and an electric motor that put out a combined output of 114 horsepower, though Toyota does not provide total torque figures for its hybrids. This drives the front wheels via an eCVT.
This offer is a Spanish exclusive as Toyota Spanish division are responsible for this project.
