Yoruba Actor Kunle Afolayan Shows Off His Latest Vintage Car, A 1929 Mercedes-Benz Gazelle
Nigerian film actor and award-winning director Kunle Afolayan shows off his latest vintage car, a 1929 Mercedes-Benz Gazelle.
The Mercedes-Benz Gazelle joins his other three vintage cars, including a 1965-1972 Mercedes Benz SE; a 1979 Jaguar XJ Series III; and a 1965 Ford Thunderbird.

Nigerian veteran film actor Kunle Afolayan has starred in numerous Nollywood movies since his debut into the industry.
In addition to being a regular face in the Yoruba movies scenes, he has also directed award-winning movies, including “The Figurine”, which won five major awards in the African Film Academy.

The economist and banker-turned filmmaker is the CEO of Golden Effects Pictures — a Nigerian film and production company.
Kunle was born into an acting family. He is the son of the late famous theatre and film director and producer, Adeyemi Josiah Afolayan, professionally known as “Ade-Love“.

Some of the films he has made includes Irapada (2006), The Figurine: Araromire (2009), October 1 (2014), The CEO (2016) and Mokalik (2019).
In one of his recent post on instagram, the 45 year old actor shows off his latest acquisition, a 1929 Mercedes-Benz Gazelle, to his followers.

He captioned his posts with :
“I am an old soul, vintage mind, classic blood in contemporary body”
Kunle is one of Nigeria’s famous collectors of vintage cars, boasting of three other iconic cars in his garage.
He claimed to be a vintage car collector, after captioning one of his posts with :
“This is Africa! I AM A COLLECTOR”




Kunle Afolayan’s collection of vintage cars includes a 1965-1972 Mercedes Benz SE (W108/W109), a 1979 Jaguar XJ Series III, and a 1965 V8 engine Ford Thunderbird.
