Nigeria’s official representative of Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and RAM – (Weststar Associates), in 2016 revealed its intention to launch four (4) Fiat 2017 brand models in Nigeria come May 2017. The desire to offer Nigerians one of Europe’s best-selling brands was what motivated their decision. “We’re optimistic that 2017 shall be a better year, so, and as a result, we will be launching four models of the Fiat brand into the Nigerian market.” The Managing Director, Mirko Plath said during a lunch meeting.
The exact models of Fiat set to be unveiled wasn’t revealed, however Plath stated that Nigerians should expect about four models at the initial launch. The Managing Director then assured Nigerians of the quality, durability and ambience of the models when they eventually hit the Nigerian market come May 2017.
